Joy Life 72 hours waterproof laminate floor warrants the flooring will resist damage from moisture due to wet mopping and everyday household spill removed within up to 72 hours. This product is water resistant, however, when excessive moisture accumulates in buildings or on building materials, mold and/or mildew growth can occur (particularly if moisture problem remains undiscovered and unaddressed). The moisture warranty excludes damage resulting from mold and/or mildew growth due to prolonged exposure to moisture. This warranty does not cover flooding.
The floor surface won’t wear through (affecting more than 10% of total floor installation as a result of normal foot traffic, scratches and loss of gloss aren’t considered as wear through),fade or stain under normal residential use, and only if installed,cared, maintained,and placed in service conditions according to manufacture’s instructions.
Pre-Installation: Joy Life warrants that its flooring is free of visual defects. Customer or installer should carefully inspect each piece before installation. Products that appear to have defects should not be installed. Joy Life Floor will not be responsible for any claim for products installed with visual defects. Make sure subfloor is clean and even, moisture level doesn't exceed 3lbs per 1000sqft. Lay 6 mil Moisture Barrier and underlayment on it before installing the laminate plank. If not follow this installation Guide Warranty will be Void.
Installation: This limited warranty covers material costs provided that such flooring is installed complying with Joy Life installation & maintenance guide.
The decorative layer of laminate flooring is designed to resist color changes from light exposure. Nonetheless, exposure to light will affect flooring’s appearance after extended period of time. The level of change depends on the intensity of light and length of exposure. Joy Life Floors does not warrant against this type of appearance change in the laminate flooring.
The warranty is subject to the following conditions:
Flooring must be installed properly in accordance with manufacturer’s installation instructions and it can not be used on ceilings, walls, boats, motor vehicles etc.
Flooring must be used indoors in dry, climate-controlled areas. Warranty does not apply if flooring is used outdoors, in a sun rooms, or otherwise exposed to uncontrolled climate conditions. Floors installed in bathrooms or saunas are not covered under warranty.
Condition for Installation, include, but not limited to, subfloor moisture content limits, flatness, soundness and stability, product acclimation.
This warranty does not apply to damage from extreme heat, dryness, moisture of any kind other than regular cleaning as have been explained. You need maintain the indoor temperature 60°F to 80°F and relative humidity 30% to 50%. Fluctuations in temperature or humidity can damage your floor. The warranty does not apply to laminate flooring that has been put to abnormal use or conditions abused in any way. Abnormal use or conditions includes, but is not limited to, water damage from flood, storm, plumbing, damage from fire,smoke, or other casualty events; damage caused by negligence, improper alterations of the original manufactured product. Abuse is any use of the flooring that is unreasonable considering the normal and expected uses of a laminate floor in residential environment. The damage to the product must be evident, measuring the size of a dime and must not be the result of abusive, abnormal conditions or accidents.

Warranty exclusions:
Damage caused by improper storage, handling, or installation
Damage caused by installed outdoors or inappropriate locations
Damage caused by subfloor out of tolerance of flatness 3/16” on a 10’ span
Damage caused by vinyl plank floating floor can’t move freely underneath the baseboards or quarter round. Must put a transition to divide each area over 60'X60' with enough space to expand.
Damage resulting from moisture problems. Moisture emissions from concrete can result in high PH and alkaline conditions that can distort the product. Our vinyl planks is waterproof and reliably secures the flooring panels on all four sides. However, moisture in the subfloor could cause mold, mildew, and other moisture related issues such as cupping or moisture emissions under the flooring, which may contribute to an unhealthy indoor environment. It is up to the flooring contractor to determine if a subfloor is not cured. Should the subfloor not be cured, please use the moisture barrier/mitigator like 6 mil moisture barriers to prevent the material from being damaged by moisture from the subfloor.
Damage caused by exposure to extreme heat or sunlight
Damage caused by fire, flood, storm, smoke, intentional abuse, etc.
Damage caused by vacuum cleaner, pets, or furniture without appropriate protection, doesn’t put mat cover all the roll chair, wheel chair use area on the floor. Danage caused by use Bleaches, Detergent based cleaners, ammonia, abrasive and shine products etc to clean flooring.
Damages resulting from improper installation or construction.
Gloss or sheen reduction or discoloration resulting from heat or sunlight.
Damage caused by water or excessive moisture, in the subfloor or underneath the flooring.
Damages resulting from the use of steam cleaning, jet mop, spray mop, or other types of wet cleaning devices.
Damage resulting from accidents, abuse, or abnormal wear (such as spiked heels), grit, unprotected furniture scratches and dents Insect infestation, scratches or stains caused by pets
Damages resulting from abuse, for example moving heavy objects like furniture or appliances across the flooring without adequate protection. doesn’t put mat cover all the roll chair, wheel chair use area on the floor.
Damage caused by flooding, prolonged stay of standing water, subfloor hydrostatic pressure (water or moisture under the floor that is transmitted to the surface through exerted pressure), leaking pipes, household mechanical failures, appliance leaks, pet urine, or any other conditions resulting in moisture through the flooring are not covered.
Separation between boards or damage as a result of natural expansion and contraction caused by low or excessive humidity including, but not limited to, splits, cracks, checking, edge fracturing, splintering or chipping during or after installation.
Intermittent noises including but not limited to, squeaks, popping, etc.
Defect should be visible and have the ability to be evaluated from a standing position under normal lighting. Product defect that is not measureable or that is only visible under certain light or from a certain angle are not covered.
Flooring that is installed in a residence that is not both owned as well as occupied by the original purchaser. Flooring that is a replacement as a result of a previous claim.
Flooring which had been installed then removed as a result of reasons such as, but not limited to, substandard subfloor, and reinstalled.
The warranty only applies to defects inherent to the material supplied. This means any material or production defects, acknowledged by the manufacturer. It includes the delaminating or reduced resistance of the wear layer. Joy Life floors will repair or replace the product at its potion. When replacement of the flooring is made, only new panels from the current product range at the time the complaint is upheld will be supplied by the distributor or retailer. There will be no other form of compensation.
